Soap bubbles are one of the thinnest materials that exist and are commonly assumed to just pop and vanish. The ability to solidify and change the properties of a bubble is a way to, simultaneously, overcome the normalisation of experience and understanding and to create a renewed sense of wonder amongst viewers.
